If you saw my last post you may have noticed that I was asked to be featured in a blogger spread by CHICSA Magazine recently! So I decided to give my take on fringes & frills for the summer/fall trend. Have you heard? Fringe is the new peplum! Similar to my last post, I am not going to share the entire post for you since it'll be in the issue but I wanted to give y'all another preview. (;

I have been dying to wear this intimately embroidered button front slip from Free People since I bought it months ago. It is singlehandedly one of the loveliest things in my closet. I just wish I knew how to wear it more. Luckily, I've styled this look a few different ways for my CHICSA article.
Personally, I like making this slip more Fleetwood Mac-esque and wearing it in the day time. I think another perfect way to wear this would be with a white maxi or with shorts and a nice tank. In all honesty I think we tend to overcomplicate pieces like these, so do what feels natural to you. Whether it be rocking it late at night, out shopping, or sleeping in it! Putting this piece over a maxi dress is ultimately what felt natural to me. Katie and I had so much fun taking these photos.
