eShakti Review

September 28, 2014

Hello! Anyone, out there? It hasn't been that long since my last post, has it? Well as usual studying for my defense against the dark arts classes take up most of my time. However, I dream of blogging periodically, and I finally got around to giving JMC a facelift!

I've been wanting to revamp the blog for quite awhile, though it may not look completely different I think it looks a lot cleaner. I just really wanted to ensure it was able to load quickly and look good on all platforms, which it struggled with earlier. There's going to be more new stuff coming so get excited!

College life has been so busy. I spend a lot of my time taking the bus to campus (oh-so-glamourous), writing fashion columns for K-State's newspaper (yay!), plus a lot of coffee drinking, Kings of Leon jamming, cooking for myself, and loving life in my new apartment.

I've always loooved 40's style dresses. Something about how snug they looked on Leave it to Beaver always had me swooning. So when eShakti contacted me about doing a product review I could not help but fall in love with this sheath dress. I scoured eShakti's site looking for the perfect custom dress and I'm super excited about mine. I chose this trim sheath dress and made it knee length (I wish I had made it a little shorter), but it's perfectly, perfect. If I could justify sleeping in this dress, I totally would. The ordering process through eShakti was super easy, and the dress came in a timely fashion. The only problem I have with the dress is the way it zips, taking off this dress is not a fun process. Also it's made out of polyester wool which has to be my least favorite fabric combination. I paired it with a pair of Chelsea boots originally from H&M (thank you Katie Campbell).

Thank you to Liz for taking these photos!

I received these products complimentary from eShakti for testing purposes. All opinions are always, always, always my own.
