Hi friends! I'm back with another monthly Sephora Play box! This post is brought to you by the lovely Emma York Photography as we continue or creative journey. Emma's insight is ever so helpful in helping see through my vision for my latest posts, many many thanks to her.
BAREMINERALS Pop of Passion Lip Oil-Balm
When I received February's box I instantly tried this lip oil-balm on. I loved how smooth it glided on and how pigmented this product was. This lip balm is one that is extremely hydrating and has a shine finish. It's a really great lip stain in my opinion as I've tried so many. What makes this product so unique is that it's so hydrating. I hate bringing lip products with me but I love carrying this mini one in my pocket. I will definitely buy a full size for $16.00 and maybe another color.
LANCÔME DRAMA LIQUI-PENCIL Longwear Eyeliner
The instant I tried this eyeliner I loved it. It's so creamy and pigmented. I would consider paying ($23.00) for another stick easily. I'm not-so-sparingly using this eyeliner but love, love, love it. The pigmentation is a very deep black, and the smoothness of this eye pencil is truly incredible. My only complaint is that this eyeliner sharpens strangely.
Tom Ford Black Orchid
I've turned over a new leaf! I'm trying to be less judgmental about perfumes. I've been trying all the floral perfumes Sephora Play sends me with a open heart. I actually really love this perfume so much I considered asking for it as a birthday present. However, when I saw the rollerball (0.2 oz) is $45 I changed my mind. I do love the scent of black orchid, black plum, and black truffle. Black Orchid is inherently a masculine scent, and I adore it. However I just can't justify paying for this perfume when I have so many others I adore more.
Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Natural Lipstick N9
I was actually disappointed when I received this lipstick because they gave this shade as a birthday gift at Sephora a couple years ago. I actually had two of these samples, and now I have three. The color is very subtle. A good transitional color for everyday, but not my favorite. My favorite would be Lolita from Kat Von D, or my new favorite NYX's soft matte lip cream in Cannes. Cannes is a dupe in my opinion to KVD's Lolita (both lipstick and liquid lipstick). Here is a comparison swatch!
Bumble & Bumble Prêt-à-Powder
I like dry shampoo very much but hate the gritty texture. I'm a feeling kinda gal, and I hate the somewhat oily feeling after using a dry shampoo. It's one that I feel I cannot wash off for some reason or another. This powder feels nothing like that! When I rub my fingers through my hair I still don't feel oily. I like that this powder is a volumizer and a dry shampoo. It's nice to be able to add a little bit extra volume to my usually limp, fine hair. I'm not a big fan of Bumble products anymore but would recommend this powder if you're looking for a nicer dry shampoo.
TARTE Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara
I've started using this mascara as an everyday mascara and saving my Lashgasm for special occasions. I'm not won over by this product as it doesn't give amazing results. I'm not particularly fond of the brush either. Would not repurchase.

Nügg Beauty De-Stress Face Mask
I've had this face mask since December but finally am getting around to reviewing them. The De-Stress Face Mask is awesome it has coconut oil and acai. I like to use this face mask after a long week, or after travelling. I put these face masks (and face masks in general) in a sandwich bag and reseal them so I can use them again in the future. A 5 Pack set is $16.45 on their website!

Wow $45 for a roller ball is crazy pricey! Glad to hear the other products were a bigger hit :) That bare minerals lip oil sounds like an interesting product-- I'll have to give it a look the next time I'm at sephora.

I love reading these beauty reviews Sonia! I'm not very adventurous with makeup, so I like seeing what other people try first before I go out and buy anything. I love the lip oil balm, that's one I'd try!
ReplyDeleteThe lip oil balm sounds lovely! I wasn't a big fan of that Makeup Forever lipstick when I received it as a Sephora birthday gift. I wish I was off the wait list for this subscription.
