Firebird

I've always been a huge fan of Gwen Stefani. I'm not embarrassed to say I used to wear Harajuku Lovers clothing in middle school. Ok maybe a little, but I still love all of Gwen Stefani's clothing lines and brand extensions. I don't typically review lipsticks, but I had to review this one. All the colors in Urban Decay and Gwen Stefani's collection are super pigmented and gorgeous. When I saw the lipsticks went on sale at Sephora I had to buy one during the Beauty Insider sale.

I've watched quite a few reviews on the Gwen Stefani x Urban Decay lipsticks and was unsure whether I'd like Firebird or not, but like is an understatement.

Firebird is a creamy, buttery, satin lipstick. I was surprised when looking at other beauty bloggers wearing this color, because its so iridescent on them. Personally I don't feel as if the color is that iridescent on me. The blue flakes in the lipstick don't appear as much on camera, but they there are definitely there. Gwen herself recently wore this color on the Voice while performing a romantic duet with Blake Shelton.

In terms of what to wear with this lipstick I think you should just have fun with it! I love to wear this lipstick with bold prints or when I'm wearing all black!

Overall, all of these UDxGS colors are super pigmented. I definitely want more lipsticks from this collection specifically all the reds. Rock Steady, Wonderland, Plaid, and Spiderweb. Unfortunately I'll have to get them from eBay because they are sold out. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend Firebird and all the satin cream lipsticks from this collection. They're very versatile reds and although they might not look different at first glance they certainly are. I feel like this lipstick would be a superhero or supervillain's signature colour, my inner superhero (X-Men) at least. P.S. go see X-Men Apocalypse, 10/10 would recommend!

Unfortunately this shade was recently sold out but its still hip and happening new in the box on eBay. Similar colors to this color would be Sephora's Cougar Rouge Cream lipstick, Tom Ford Beauty in Kingston, and Colour Pop's the Rabbit.
