Four Years Later

Hi friends! Happy August! It’s crazy to think that just a little over 4 years ago Je M’appelle Chanel was born. Monday, July 30 2012. Read my first post here!

 

I still stand behind the words of my first post four years ago. A Jerry Macguire-esque mission statement and moral philosophy. It's mind blowing how much Je M’appelle Chanel has grown since then. JMC has become such a big part of my life. Creating friendships, humbling me, and also being the source that fuels my creativity.

Of course JMC couldn’t be possible without you, my followers, my friends, and my family. I love you all so dearly. All the people who read my posts, like my photos, and leave comments (I read every single one!) I’d like to thank all my friends over the years who’ve taken photos for the blog and supported my dreams.  Abbey, Liz, Emma, Alyssa, Katie without you ladies JMC would always be incomplete.

As I approach my senior year of college I'm excited to dive into another year of sharing my stye, and musings with you. I have some exciting posts coming up!

 

I visited NYC a little bit ago. Eating too much pizza, bagels, and drinking an excessive amount of Dunkin Donuts coffee. While I was there I did some shopping with my family, and my Aunty Indira treated me to these sweet Skinnydip x Zara Martin Bling Headphones from Urban Outfitters. 

I’d been wanting these headphones for awhile now and was so excited when she got them for me. The only complaints I have about these headphones are that they are very delicate, they don’t fit my ears all the way (definitely noticeably) which is kinda weird, but they’re so beautiful it doesn’t bother me much. I also was disappointed that these headphones didn’t come with a case. They’re so delicate and the packaging is adorable I wish they’d come with a case. Fortunately, I found an old Beats by Dre case under my bed so they’re nestled in there!

Ultimately, I love the beauty of these headphones + the sound quality is gr8!
