What's in My Batchel

Hi beautiful people! I'm back doing a what's in my bag/review on my 15' Classic Batchel in Leather from the Cambridge Satchel Company.

I had wanted a bigger Cambridge Satchel bag because my 13' bag wasn't quite cutting it especially with my thoughts on starting grad school in the fall. I started my eBay search early on and found a black batchel, new with tags for 60% off.  My will power against purses is so low, especially against Cambridge Satchels. Of course I had to get this beauty. I had been on the prowl for a bag that could fit my laptop, iPad, wallet, keys, pencil case, endless lipsticks, and a folder or two. Additionally, I had also been looking for a bigger sized minimalistic bag for domestic travel.

What's in my bag can fluctuate but I always have my key holder, wallet, a lipstick or two or...five, my iPod Classic, vintage sunglasses, and a book.

I always try to carry perfume, lipstick (Ciate liquid velvet is 10/10), and eyeliner. This e.l.f. eyeliner is the my newest pick and good for $3, although I wish it was a bit more pigmented. Despite the fact they killed off iPod Classics, its still a must for me in my purse. Lately on walks especially I've been listening to Melodrama by Lorde, and Joanne by Lady Gaga. I also have been loving Riverdale's second season. So much that I've been re-reading Archie Comics that I collected over my childhood. Veronica is still my favorite, wish I had gotten more Veronica lipsticks from the Archie's Girl's M.A.C collection *sigh* 

So how does the Batchel hold up? Well it fits a lot more than my 13 in satchel or any other purse I have! The quality is impeccable, the leather is beautiful, and handcrafted in Great Britain piece by piece! It can hold my Macbook Air (not with the neoprene case sadly) and all my goods above comfortably with room for a pencil case and folder. The Batchel has a handle and a strap vs the 13' just having a strap. The outer pocket is a perfect size for my pencil case or lipsticks. The only complaint I have about this bag is that it can get heavy especially with the weight being distributed to one side. I wish I could turn the straps into criss cross backpack straps, something I will have to search for on Pinterest later. But all around, a great, classic, bigger purse for those looking for a more streamlined and professional purse.
