Glow Up with Ren

If you know me, you know how obsessed I am with green beauty. Ren Clean Skincare happens to be one of those brands I adore. Their goal of zero waste by 2021, 100% recyclable packaging, and goal to clean up the ocean and beaches is something every beauty company should aspire to recreate! I've tried a few products from Ren's Evercalm line (re-read the post here), but have never actually tried any of their body products. So when they sent me a few products I was game!

AHA Smart Renewal Body Serum

At first I thought this was a face wash by the packaging, but its a body serum that exfoliates the skin while leaving a radiant glow. Now I wasn't sure what to think of this serum, this certainly isn't something I normally would buy. Its like a cross between an exfoliater and moisturizer. I feel like I don't exfoliate my body very well. Dry brushes creep me out and I don't like loofahs either because they aren't recyclable and eventually gross me out. This product is only 10% an exfoliator but it still gives me piece of mind knowing that I am exfoliating in some way. This serum is also a light-weight body moisturizer which helps with the exfoliation It has a slightly odd smell but not so bad I wouldn't want to use it. This product is ultimately supposed to give you softer and smoother skin. On first use I don't know whether I felt like I was more moisturized but the more I used it. I tend to use this product after a shower. I think this product is great for the summer when your legs are all out! I would suggest if you've just shaved to wait a bit because it does sting post-shave.

Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic

This toner is supposed to help exfoliate the skin and help you glow. I'm still not sure how I feel about this toner. There is lactic acid, aelaic acid, and willow bark extract in this toner and it has a slight sting to it. I have started using toner more recently because my Makeup Eraser just has not been getting all the crevices of my makeup off. I like this tonic because I definitely feel like my face has a more dewy/glowy resemblance in the morning. I don't want to stretch and say my skin has been more glowy in the morning because of this tonic but I feel like it truly has been.

Glow Daily Vitamin C Gel Cream Moisturizer
This is a gel cream with vitamin C and magnesium. Similar to the other products this is a glowy moisturizer and friendly to all skin types and tones. I really like the texture of this cream. Its lighter than the Global Protection Day Cream which I like a lot more. I like that this cream is a lighter and is very easy to mix with sunscreen. A little bit goes a long way too.

Overall I was really impressed with this collection and would recommend it. I think  these products would work well on a wide range of beauty lovers. Glam makeup lovers and no-makeup makeup lovers. There are a couple other products in this collection I'd like to try, the micro polish cleanser and glycol lactic radiance renewal mask.
