If you know me you know how passionate I am about sustainability. Specifically protecting our environment and preserving it for future generations. I'm always about finding more sustainable options to incorporate into my life from sandwich bags to sneakers. As I've been exercising more and more these days I've been wearing down my current sneakers and have been on the lookout for a new pair.
My new sneakers found me to be completely honest. AVRE, a sustainable footwear brand reached out to collaborate and I was so game. Each AVRE shoe is manufactured with knitted fibers created from recycled P.E.T plastic. 8-10 water bottles are used to create each pair. Also, AVRE pledges 10% of its sales to awesome organizations like Oceana and Girls in Tech which is super rad.
I am wearing the momentum sneaker in black and white. They are so versatile! My workout gear is pretty neutral, so these work with everything! I was also wearing this jumpsuit the other day and really liked the casual look with my momentum sneakers. Something I really love about these sneakers is that you can easily hide the laces. Overall these sneakers are comfortable and great for everyday. I was able to play pickleball, do cardio at the gym, and even run around Crossroads comfortably.
I think these sneakers can literally go with anything from a sundress to a tank top, shorts, and a kimono. Speaking of which I am OBSESSED with this kimono. I saw it a few years back at Anthropologie, but it was super spendy. I got it for a steal on Poshmark and haven't looked back. I super love the brand Sisters Gulassa. Two sisters who combine their love of fashion, art, and design to create color and bright lifestyle pieces. What's not to dig? Lots going on in la vie de Chanel these days. Excited to share. Talk soon beautiful people!

They are cute shoes and it's great they are made of recyclable material! I love the kimono too! this is a staple summer outfit for me since my knee injury became so unmanageable - always in shorts and sneakers, haha!
